Fax: We request all the Host/Reference to send their invitations and enquiries via our official Email, since the fax connection is very unstable.

 

Please note that May and June are considered busy months as there will be many students applying for Resident Permits. The Embassy recommends that students apply as early as 5 months before the start of the course. Applicants submitting Visa Applications in these months are requested to be aware that there might be big crowd at the Embassy. We therefore request applicants who plan to travel in those months to submit their applications as early as possible. But please note that applicants only can submit applications for Visa maximum 3 months prior to their travel.

 

Visa Self Service (VSS) Online Application

The Embassy of Denmark has implemented online visa application forms since 26 November 2010. The visa applicants are encouraged to lodge their application online through VSS in order to save time for applicants.

Procedure to apply:

1. Register online and fill in the application form through Visa Self Service Denmark.

2. After filling in the form online, please print and bring the signed covering letter to the Embassy.

3. Along with the signed covering letter, the applicant has to bring his/her passport along with other relevant and supporting documents which are listed in the Embassy’s homepage under “Requirement for a Schengen visa”

4. Payment shall be made in Cash at the Embassy.

This service is only available to apply for Schengen short stay visa. All the other resident permits are to be lodged at the embassy.
