All of the 50 buildings presented here have been selected by a professional jury as the best examples of Norwegian Architecture from the period 2000–2005. The exhibition was produced by the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design in Norway.

The exhibition uses drawings, pictures, models and video to showcase the best that Norwegian architecture has to offer, and will give you a  tour of the 50 unique and interesting buildings. Thematically, this exhibition is divided into the following five categories: Transformation, Form and function, Symbol and identity, Materials and constructions, Contrast and proximity. It is focussed on certain characteristics of each building to give a new angle on a large body of material.
