Danish Embassy now handles visas for Norway

General information on Schengen Visa and Residence Permit

Norway joined the Schengen area*, a group of 15 countries in Europe, on 25 March 2001. A visa for any one of these Schengen countries is valid for entry in all other countries in the area during the period for which the visa is valid. To apply for a visa with the Norwegian Embassy, the visit to Norway should be validated by the main purpose of travel.
